“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).“He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday” (Psalm 91:4-6). “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea” (Psalm 46:1-2). During the entire month of May, Dr. Fuller will expound on Exodus, chapters 8 to 12 as the plagues are falling one after another upon Egypt, while God’s chosen people are protected in the midst. In our own present time of plague and pestilence, our Savior and Lord has gone before us. He is your peace and your armor, your shield and your strength. Let us not fear evil tidings (Psalm 112:7) and remember Philippians 4:6-7. As the Lord fills you with all joy and peace in believing, may that overflow onto others.

WE NEED YOUR HELP if you want OFRH to stay afloat. We are totally dependent upon our gracious Lord. Although we try to keep expenses to a minimum, there are considerable costs involved in main-taining our radio and internet accessibility, in producing CDs, and in communicating with our wonderful listeners as well as keeping accurate accounts. For three months now, some invoices have gone unpaid. We realize that a number of you dear friends may find yourselves in similar circumstances, but perhaps others can help with our need. One person we know of gave a tithe of the stimulus check she received. We are so grateful. And last month we received a gift from a young man in Florida who wrote: “I look forward to hearing the Old Fashioned Revival Hour…each Sunday evening when I’m not…serving at sea. I thank you for sharing your kind and insightful thoughts each week…. Dr. Fuller’s sermons provide a great encouragement to me, and the OFRH choir brings me closer to fellowship with God as I worship with them.” He also asked for prayer for his grandparents’ needs and for his own “daily walk with the Lord.” Could you join us in praying for him and his grandparents? Yes, in recent weeks there has been a great deal of death and destruction worldwide, but I hope you can testify with David when he said, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4). And maybe the joyful CD we are featuring this month will also bring a measure of comfort. The title is “Magnificent Medleys” sung by the OFRH chorus choir. The price is $16.50 which includes shipping (Californians, add $1.50 tax). And if you’re able, please remember our urgent financial situation. In anticipation of the Lord’s provision, Michael Khanchalian, D.D.S.
