Open Bible on snow under bright sun and clear blue sky, with a red ribbon bookmark. Peaceful, serene winter setting.

Happy New Year, dear OFRH family,

Our God of amazing grace has safely brought us into another year – a new year that, as we continue each day to abide in Him, He faithfully continues loving us, refining us, sanctifying us as He readies us for an eternity spent with Him. How wise and patient He is with you and with me, using us in the lives of Christians and pre-Christians alike. Sometimes these growing processes can be painful, but each “is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]!” (2 Corinthians 4:17 Amplified Version)

During January as OFRH explores four of the Minor Prophets, we will find ourselves “in the valley of decision” (Joel 3:14) as we “consider our ways” (Haggai 1:5).  I trust that you will join me in times of quiet reflection in the presence of the Lord as we move forward.

While 2026 gets underway, the OFRH board will be gathering together at the Salem Radio offices where we can get away from our personal busyness in order to analyze and discuss the fruitfulness of the many stations and of our website. We want to be faithful stewards of the funds the Lord has entrusted to us and also to unite in prayer for this ministry. We want to take time as well to pray for each of the needs our OFRH family shares with us – so do let us know how we can lift you up before our loving Lord.

And just in case someone reading this is not aware, let me remind you that this gospel outreach has always been a listener-supported ministry. So if you are concerned about keeping OFRH on your local station and on the Internet, please let us hear from you. In November, along with his helpful gift, a gentleman in Virginia wrote: “A few words of appreciation for your ministry of bringing Dr. Fuller into my home every week. May God bless you abundantly for your service. The sermons from 1 John are on-spot and much appreciated….”  We’re confident that our music is also a blessing to him and his wife. And this month, the CD we’re featuring has 5 piano solos by Rudy Atwood, 5 wonderful songs by our men’s quartet and 5 by the choir. Appropriately for January, the title is “On a Winter Day” and the purchase price is just $16.50 which includes shipping.

Cheerfully going forward as we rest in Christ,

Michael Khanchalian, D.D.S.
