Dear OFRH Family,

Last month I shared with you that our program has returned to station KDAR 98.3 FM serving Oxnard, Ventura and Santa Barbara at 7:00 am Sundays here in California.  This month I am thrilled to let you  know that OFRH is debuting on KPRZ 1210 on the AM dial and 106.1 FM at 9 o’clock Sunday evenings in and around San Diego, California. We’re rejoicing in these wonderful opportunities! If you have any friends or family members in these areas, we hope you’ll tell them where they can now hear Dr. Fuller’s teaching along with the wonderful music we offer. And please let us hear from you.

On our August broadcasts, Dr. Fuller’s emphasis is the life of Joseph and how he went through a long season of extreme difficulty and humiliation. Although the Lord had a painful road for him to follow, we know that he was under the protective wings of the God of his fathers (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob). We also know he was faithfully obedient when nothing seemed to make sense.  Perhaps you’re familiar with the following statement made by Adoniram Judson, missionary to Burma in the 1800s  In the midst of excruciating year-in and year-out suffering he said, “The future is as bright as the promises of God.” Some 3600 years earlier Joseph could have said the same thing. And the time did come when God lifted Joseph up and made him a tremendous blessing to the Egyptians and to the children of Israel.

Because Joseph walked humbly (but confidently) under God’s wings, this month the music CD  we’re featuring is “Under His Wings” with 15 encouraging songs by the OFRH men’s quartet. You may order it for just $16.50 which includes shipping ($18.00 for Californians due to tax).

In June we received a note from a pastor in New York who ordered a CD and said: “Thank you for continuing the broadcasts. We usually listen in the car. Hoping y’all are doing well in these trying times. Keep in touch. We continue to pray for you wonderful folks.”

How thankful we are for their prayers and yours. It goes both ways – this summer a number of listeners have called or written requesting prayer. Some are deeply concerned for the salvation of friends or loved ones. Others have shared their serious health issues and other worries. Our staff takes seriously these heart concerns and we do bring them before God’s throne of grace.

Basking in God’s promises and blessings,
