June 2025 Newsletter - OFRH 23rd Anniversary Broadcast

Most beloved OFRH family,

This month we have the great joy of having completed our 23rd year of re-broadcasting Dr. Fuller’s Sunday afternoon meetings from the 1940s and 1950s. In June of 2002 we began on one station – the Salem Communications station KDAR in Oxnard, California. Although KDAR no longer airs OFRH, our  music and the messages by Dr. Fuller can be heard currently throughout the United States on some 140 outlets and worldwide via Internet. And I’m very happy to report that last month we added four more of our hour-long broadcasts to our station lineup: WSNL in Detroit, Michigan; WCVX in Cincinnati, Ohio; WCGW in Lexington, Kentucky; and WJIV in Albany, New York. How great is God’s faithfulness!

And speaking of OFRH’s beginning and God’s faithfulness, we have just begun a summer-long series of messages where the Bible begins (the Book of Genesis) with Dr. Fuller teaching about how God blessed those who placed their faith in Him. The last week in May we heard about Abel, and during June the focus will be on Enoch, Noah, and Abraham. These men are commended to us in Hebrews 11:1-13 as examples for believers to follow.

When the OFRH board of directors meets, we so often speak of what a humbling privilege it is to watch God’s provision for this radio ministry each month, now for more than two decades. And although I haven’t called attention to it recently, we had for some time named June as OFRH Founder’s Month, urging listeners to drop us a note. So I’m wondering if in the next few weeks we might hear from you personally. Your encouragement, prayers and support would mean a great deal to us. And, as always, our team lifts to the Lord any prayer requests you might share.

Last month we received a letter from an 80-year-old man in Oregon who, as a child, listened. He said, “Most of the time I would listen to the OFRH while ‘sitting on the breadbox’ in one corner of our little dining room…. He would speak to those listening out in ‘radio-land’ if any wanted to receive Christ, would they raise their hand…. On numerous Sunday afternoons I raised my hand to indicate my deep desire to receive Christ as my Savior.”  What a joy to hear that, after so many years, he is still walking with Jesus. Again, great is God’s faithfulness!
