Peace Concept

Precious OFRH family,

I have been encouraged and helped these past few weeks by Dr. Fuller’s teaching from Ephesians, chapter 6. I’ve set my mind and heart on the practical truths concerning the armor that God has provided. Has it been a help to you as well? Please let us know.

Perhaps Romans 12:1 (“present your bodies”) is a shortened version of Ephesians 6:11-18 (“put on the whole armor of God”). The first broadcast in September will discuss the sword of the Spirit which, of course, is the Word of God. The final two messages covering Ephesians will deal with prayer. Beloved, these two are really the dynamic duo – the Word of God and prayer – mighty offensive spiritual weapons which 2 Corinthians 10:4 declares are divinely powerful for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds.

Swirling around us currently we see chaos, confusion, and lies, along with sophisticated, subtle arguments being dished out by the world. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” So keep that helmet of salvation buckled on in order to saturate your mind with the Word of God. And don’t forget Philippians 4:6-8 either!

A few weeks ago we heard from a lady in response to Dr. Fuller’s messages at that time on Spiritual Warfare and Satan. She agreed that Satan is real and then stated that prayer is our weapon against the power of evil. She also encouraged us that each OFRH program prompts her to do something good for another person.

How wonderful that she wants to be a blessing to others. With that in mind, we are featuring today our music CD by the OFRH choir entitled “Make Me a Blessing.” They sing 15 inspirational numbers to help build you up in the faith. The price? Just $16.50 which includes shipping. For Californians, it’s $18.00 due to sales tax. If you’d like to include a gift to this ministry, that would bless us as well.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and encouragement. Your prayers and gifts are the expressions of our Lord’s grace that keep this Old Fashioned Revival Hour coming to you and to our entire radio and internet family – only the Lord knows how many people that encompasses. We consider each and every one of them a blessing.

Rejoicing in our Lord’s abundant blessings,

Michael Khanchalian, D.D.S.
