June 2020 Newsletter

Dear OFRH Family,

We have heard from a number of you this past month, and I really want to thank you from my heart for keeping in touch. You have told us you are blessed by this ministry’s music and message, that you need us and are praying for us even in these difficult days. Well, bless you, one and all. We need you as well. Please! May we hear from even more of you during June? Expenses continue to outweigh the donations we receive each month.

It’s tempting to wonder sometimes if God is still using the Old Fashioned Revival Hour, but each word of encouragement reassures us to stay the course. Here’s an example from a man in Virginia: “Brother Fuller’s messages and the beautiful music is more important than ever right now. You see, our church services have been cancelled for the duration of this pandemic scare. How wonderful to be able to listen to the OFRH broadcasts at any hour of any day via the Internet. Praise God for your labor of love in making this available. Signed – a sinner saved by God’s grace”

This month, as we sing and worship along with the OFRH chorus choir and quartet, Dr. Fuller will be guiding us through Exodus, chapters 13, 14 and 15. We will journey with Moses, Aaron and the children of Israel as they exit Egypt. They are following not their own path but the one God reveals for them one day at a time. Hallelujah that He knows the way we take – and He knows why. We don’t have to know why, but we do have to know Him and lean on Him. Oh, the joy of finding Him faithful.

From coast to coast, believers and unbelievers alike have been sheltered in place for approximately ten weeks. But amid these circumstances and the hardships many of you have faced, let us echo David’s declaration in Psalm 36:7 – “How precious is Your loving kindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.”

Perhaps this month’s featured CD by the quartet will fortify your trust in His loving kindness. The title is “Under His Wings” and the chorus of that first song tells us our soul shall abide, safely abide forever under His wings. You may order that CD (or any of our other 40 CDs) for just $16.50 which includes shipping. (Californians need to add $1.50 for tax.)

Thanking the Lord for you and for His sheltering care,

Michael Khanchalian, D.D.S.

I am so thrilled to find out that you are still accessible. My Pastor gave me an old book awhile ago entitled Manna in the Morning and I started reading it in January 2020 and read it every day. I am so blessed by it. God's truth is always in season. This book was copyrighted in 1943 and still a blessing today. I look forward to listening the sermons on the internet. Thank you and God Bless.
