Heartfelt greetings to each of you dear ones,

I have been listening to many of my patients and friends who have become a mite fearful during these days of uncertainty. That’s why I want to commend to you this precious hymn:

“In times like these you need a Savior. In times like these you need an anchor.

Be very sure, be very sure, your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock. This Rock is Jesus….”

If you don’t have the entire hymn memorized and have a hymnal around, please take a moment to soak in each phrase. And together, let’s hunker down in the truth it expresses. The second verse begins: “In times like these you need the Bible….” So let me share Philippians 4:6-8 from the Amplified version: “Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart.”

This month, may your heart be uplifted by the music of the Old Fashioned Revival Hour and the messages of Dr. Fuller from the Book of Exodus, as he continues guiding us while we accompany the Israelites from the crossing of the Red Sea, passing through Marah and Elim, and then into a difficult time where food, first, and then water were not to be found. In the midst of our own trying circumstances, may we relate to God with believing prayer and the expectation of faith in God’s promises and provision.

Since summer is upon us, we’ve chosen to feature the wonderful CD, “Good Old Summertime,” which has 5 numbers by the choir, 5 by the quartet, and 5 piano solos by Rudy Atwood. You may order it for just $16.50 which includes shipping. If in California, please add $1.50 for tax.

Let me share this enthusiastic email from a lady in New York: “Just to say how wonderful, wonderful, wonderful it is to listen to the Old Fashioned Revival Hour and to hear Dr. Fuller teach and preach the precious holy words from the Good Book. I found the OFRH quite by accident or directed by my Lord (providence is a wonderful thing). Thank you so much for each and every day to be able to listen.”

Trusting Him in times like these,

Michael Khanchalian, D.D.S.
