It is such a privilege to come to each of you personally in this way every month. Thank you for your faithfulness in standing with us through fervent prayer and financial support in this worldwide endeavor to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the nations.
Dr. Fuller completes his series in the Book of Revelation during the month of May. We trust you’ll take some quiet time to “soak” in chapters 20, 21 and 22 this month, being amazed at all your Lord has in store in these closing days of history. May you be freshly lost in His love and then let it spill over on those around you.
That’s what my wife Janene, our eldest son Timothy and myself had the opportunity to do for three weeks when we traveled to Kenya. How we depended on your prayers! And I can proclaim to you joyfully that our God was faithful indeed. Trials and challenges along the way? Oh yes, many…but 15 cases full of delicate dental instruments and supplies made it intact from California to East Africa, through customs and on to the Nurmay (meaning “Light to the Tribes”) Christian school and mission compound. Day after day, hundreds of surrounding villagers made their way to the medical and dental clinics that we assembled on a vacant cement floor where they discovered people who loved them and brought them advanced care unavailable anywhere else in this vast province. Even better, though, is the fact that numbers of villagers made decisions for Christ, and they’ll be followed up as well. So please continue to pray during the days and years ahead that our Lord will draw many more precious “sheep” to Himself through His love being expressed in tangible ways there in Nurmay.
If we haven’t heard from you for awhile, especially with summer approaching, please remember that OFRH goes on week by week only as God through you makes it possible. This OFRH gospel ministry is hurting financially, and each one on the board of directors is using May for special days of prayer and fasting.
