February 2018 Newsletter

February 2018

Dear OFRH family:

During the month of February, Dr. Fuller will be highlighting the Lord’s role as our High Priest. I trust you’ll be blessed as you refresh your mind and heart with the wonder of your salvation. Another means of spiritual refreshment is music – “making melody in your heart to the Lord.” So this month, we’re happy to feature Volume 1 of our “Gospel Favorites.” This album has more music than most of our other CDs – 11 numbers by the OFRH choir and 11 by the quartet. The price is also more: $16.50 which includes shipping (but due to tax, for Californians it’s $18.00 total).

GOOD NEWS: The remodeled OFRH website has just been launched, and we ask for your patience as we refine it and make improvements. It will take us awhile to reload a number of our many past broadcasts. But very soon you’ll be able to click on “Listen” and then come to a page with our current program as well as a number of prior ones. Also, you can share your prayer requests with us online. This is something each of us on the board takes very seriously. In addition, it’s possible now for you to donate online your gifts in support of OFRH as well as to order all OFRH products directly from our website.

NOT-SO-GOOD NEWS: I’ve mentioned from time to time the generous estate gift we received and have used to add several new stations. Well, I’m saddened to report that those funds are nearly exhausted and that support from listeners has not increased over the past year. Therefore, unless friends who care can step up, we must discontinue broadcasting on a number of stations in the next few weeks.

Although the situation could cause discouragement, we choose to rejoice over the opportunities we’ve had this past year to broadcast in large metropolitan areas. God is still “able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think,” so please keep praying with us.

To Him be the glory!

Michael Khanchalian, D.D.S.
