In order to reach as many people as possible with the good news of salvation, Dr. Fuller was eager to use whatever new technology became available. In 1925 it was radio. In 1950 it was TV. However, due to the limited outreach of television at that time and the excessive cost, he decided to let go of TV and concentrate on his radio ministry.
As far as we know, only three of those 30-minute TV productions of “The Old Fashioned Meeting” were preserved, and this month we are featuring a DVD with those three programs from October of 1950. The quality is not up to today’s high standards, of course, but we think you’ll enjoy seeing Dr. and Mrs. Fuller when television was in its infancy.
